Life Education Bristol are an independent, self-funding charity whose work involves going into schools to provide essential education on health and life skills. They came to us looking to update their current website with a modern and interesting design. One of their main focuses was in creating an online presence that would provide information for parents, teachers and supporters alike, all under one simple, to-the-point website.
Life Education Bristol provide education on health and life skills to primary school children, from their specially-design mobile classroom, creating an unique learning experience. They wanted this USP to be one the main focuses of their new website, so we set our sights on creating imagery that would emphasise and show off their mobile classroom to visitors to the site. They wanted the site to be simply designed, with a strong focus on imagery, so we organised and delivered a photoshoot, enabling us to capture the classroom in full use, as well as beautifully shot images of the classes being delivered.
As Life Education work under the umbrella organisation, Coram, certain aspects of the design needed to be kept in line with their guidelines, whilst still maintaining the strong brand identity that Life Education Bristol were seeking.
The final website is focused on strong imagery, with bold aspects that punctuate the most prominent areas of the design. We kept the colours simple, so that the text and images would remain an integral focus for visitors to the site. With several types of visitors to cater to, reinventing their navigation allowed us to split the website into various sections designed with specific audiences in mind.
The final product is a clean, responsively-designed and modern site, built with the functionality and USP-focus that will provide visitors to the site with easily accessible and simple information they require.
